Wanna Win an Organic Boba Carrier? (Thought so.) It's Giveaway Time!

I am ALL about the toddler-wearing right now! So is Kaspar, which is pretty much perfect when it comes to busy airports or long days out and about, when Kaspar can run around to his heart's content and then find a cozy spot on one of our backs as we continue doing our out-and-about thing. (Win to the win, people.) I've written about our recent adventures in toddler-wearing here. Read up! Get your toddler on! It's a happy family revolution!

We have -- and love -- an organic Boba carrier. This thing goes the distance, from birth to 'big boy' (or girl), is super easy to get on and off, and is made to last. We absolutely plan to pass ours down to baby #2, whenever that happens, and probably to friends and family from there, if I can stand to let it go. And, I want to pass one along (brand new, obvs) to one of you. Yeah, you!

Love the color of the Boba in the picture. I use an Ergo for my 8mo. There's nothing sweeter than being able to cuddle your baby close and the nuzzle his sweet head. Why do they grow up? Anyways...when did you start to carry Kaspar on your back? I'm just wondering, though I'm not ready to try yet. Take care!

Ooooh! This is exactly what my husband has been looking for! He wants to start taking our son out on hikes, but at 2 1/2, he can't go very far. I really only knew about the aluminum frame backpacks, and those are too hardcore for my husband. I super want to win this, it would be a great birthday present for him!!

I really would love something like this for my 18 month old. I go to our farm to help my husband take care of the cows and sometime the safest place(or only place he wants tobe) for him is in my arms. I have a traditional backpack that is heavy(add his 27lbs) and hurts my back. We do not have the money to buy one and he is our last so no babies to passit on too.

I would love to win this! I have a 6 week old and we've been using a baby bjorn that I picked up at a thrift store. It's fine for now since he's wee but once he's bigger I can see why they're called "crotch danglers". I've been eyeing a boba or an ergo but they're pricey! Here's hoping its my lucky day.

We have been using an almost hiking style carrier for our son (8.5) mons but I have been eyeballing these (that other carrier is great for dad but KILLS my back ;) Lil man is so much happier being "up" with us and it is so much better to have my hands free to "do" . Love your blog!

Oh my goodness, I would love to have this. Would really help us when we travel or even just shopping, she hates riding in the cart, always wants to be held or run around.

I would LOVE a carrier like this! I am always giving my 2.5 year old a piggy-back ride whenever we are out and about. This would make my life so much easier! Especially since we are expecting our 2nd little one in March. I've been following your blog since you joined parenting, our kiddos are only a week apart! Thanks for the great posts!

Hi! I started wearing my now 9month old from about 2 months with a moby, and have tried a few different carriers since. She absolutely hates being in a stroller which has made my newfound love of baby wearing pretty easy. She's not too fond of being wrapped in front, I think a bobs would be great to try! ;) love the article and everything baby wearing.

I have a ten month old and due in December so this would be very helpful once my new little one arrives. My ten month old is so very active and hates to be strapped into a stroller. I think he would love to feel a little more 'free' in one of these carriers. I tried one many years ago with my now six year old and getting the thing on and off and then carrying her in it was horrible. It seems that these carriers are definitely more user friendly! Would love to have one to try out for both babies!

I've so been wanting to try a Boba! It's hard to find structured carriers that fit petite moms. I love my woven wraps but definitely want this for the convenience and hood.

I used a baby carrier with my son a lot as an infant and I am now looking for the right toddler carrier as he is now 20 months and too big for the one we have. It is a great, safe, and fun alternative to the stroller. Thanks!

Do they get heavy in the carrier, though? How long can you carry your LO in that without a break? Might have been very nice during pregnancy #2 to pack my now 20-month old

Hi there...I am the proud mama of a 17 month old girl. She is the absolute love of my life and the best thing I have ever been apart of. Her giggle lights up each day and there's nothing I love better than hanging out with her. I would love to have the flexibility, comfort, and user-ability this carrier provides. Thank you for sharing your story. I would love to continue 'wearing' my 26 mo. old out and about like you do, and would love the chance to win this carrier. I guess I thought they were only made for the little babies, and the only other option were the heavy duty aluminum frame ones, and those don't seem as snuggly.

I would so love to win this. When my first son was lil I toted him in a boppy sling and we both loved it. Unfortunately we have miracle grow in our tap water or something cause he grew out of it in an eye blink. I never could afford to get something to replace it. Now with baby #2 I'm ready to start babywearing again but I want something that will last.

This sounds like a great carrier and a great idea. My daughter is almost 3 now and was born premature and with downs syndrome. At that time we tried using a carrier (Bjorne) but she was so tiny it never worked out well. Now she is go go go all the time but when we go out she cannot keep up like her 4 yr old brother which frustrates her. This would be a great solution.

We would love to try this back carrier. We have been cramming my 18 month old in her Baby Bjorn for so long now, even though she is a little too big for it. She loves hanging out with Daddy while he is cooking or doing general chores. Thank you for the great article!!!

I use an up-scaled umbrella stroller for my 2 1/2 yr old daughter. She doesn't mind it but it is getting its use and I don't think it will last much longer. She is a "runner". If we pass on the stroller (which we like to do every so often so she does gets exercise) we have to use the "leash". She HATES the leash. Lately she has been in the "Mommy only stage" and would love for me to carry her every where. I didn't know they made carriers for her age. We had one for when she was smaller but we never used it once. Just because my husband loved to carry her everywhere and we never needed it. Now I think it would be a great and best time for one. My son is turning 2 next month, and he's a ball of energy. Carts can't contain him in the store, strollers can't contain him at fairs, and he will have nothing to do with holding my hand when he's walking. I've always wondered if they made carriers for toddlers! This is wonderful! I'd love to win one =)

I just read your article through parenting.com and would love something like this for my 3 year old! If I were still comfortable carrying her in the sling, she would be more than happy to be toted about on me. Outings would be much easier, plus I had never heard of this carrier until your article.

I've been looking at toddler-wearing options. I don't always want to have the bulky stroller around but I also don't always want my daughter running all over either when it's not safe. Plus, she'll trick me in to thinking she wants to walk so I leave the stroller and sure enough I end up carrying around a 25 lb toddler which is killing my arms and back. I'd love to be able to give her the options without being exhausted at the end of an outting.

Oh i just checked out the boba website the other day and it made me think i should consider it rather than the ergo or active carrier... hm. so many choices! just looking for something new because my beco has such short padded straps (its an older version). i've worn my first in a moby at first and then in a beco. i stopped having him in the beco earlier this year as my baby #2 bump was in the way. so agree the backpack way is great! recently we went to a local car event with lots of very noisy cars and my hubby had him on his back - first time in a long time i had to wear him myself and in front because my son got so scared :(. needless to say we left quickly again. would love this carrier for the longer staps - and it would fit both my kiddos - 2 yrs and 12 wks :)

Loved the article on Parenting! I've been toying with the idea of transitioning my LO from front carry to back carry. He's almost 7 mos. old and 21 lbs. It's getting hard to front-carry for extended periods. How big is your LO? I take it that the boba is comfortable carrying a toddler (and the extra weight) for extended periods on the back?

Great Article. I love wearing my toddler. She is 19 months old and I don't see us stopping anytime soon. Great for travel, especially if she needs a nap and we're on the go. She sleeps amazing in her carrier.

Already a fan of our Ergo, and baby #2 is on the way! We would love to carry both and see how much we can love the Boba, too!

In airports, we have used a Trunki recently, which holds toys, but doubles as a ride on toy. Our son loves being in charge of pulling it himself, and I think it helps get some energy out before our long sit.

I just stopped wearing my 3-year-old(!) who would probably love to continue life on my back for the next 40 years! This carrier looks amazing.
